With the help of the SMARTKEY tool, locks can
be re-keyed without removing the cylinder. By
following a few easy steps, you can insert a new
key, and the cylinder will re-key itself!
Superior Security in a Completely New Design
SmartKey Reset Cradle
Reset cradle allows you to rekey a cylinder
when the original key is not available.
Insert the cylinder into
the cradle.
Insert the SmartKey tool into the small
hole next to the keyway.
Insert the new key into
the plug.
Remove the plug from
the cradle
Rotate the key and remove key from cylinder. That's it!
