TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
We will be pleased to furnish any information
or assistance needed to establish a customer's
claim against the carrier. Within five (5) days
after tender of, delivery to, or receipt of any
shipment and before any part of the material
has been changed from its original condition,
customer shall inform Charles McMurray Co.
in
writing
if the material is found defective or short
in any respect. Failure to inform Charles McMur-
ray Co. of any discrepancies or use of the mate-
rial within this period is conclusively deemed
that we have satisfactorily performed.
6. DELIVERY/FREIGHT/SHIPPING
POLICY
• Local Delivery:
No delivery charge on orders
over $150. For orders less than $150, a $10 deliv-
ery charge will apply.
• Freight & Shipping:
Charles McMurray
Co. provides multiple shipping options to meet
our customers’ different needs. We offer these
services to provide our customers with timely,
dependable and competitive delivery of their
orders. However, we cannot assume any liabil-
ity for delivery time.
Charles McMurray Co.
reserves the right to select the most efficient
shipping means possible.

Other Freight/Shipping Terms:
Out-of-state shipments
(except the greater
Reno and Las Vegas, & Southern Oregon areas)
will always be shipped at customer’s expense.
The freight charge will be the higher of the
tiered freight charge above or the carrier's actu-
al freight charge. In addition, there is a separate
$10 handling fee for orders under $50.
Orders shipped from 2nd warehouse:
If a
stock order must be split between two ware-
houses because product is unavailable at the
first warehouse, the second shipment will be
treated as a backorder and shipped freight pre-
paid.
Drop-ships: The actual freight on direct ship-
ments from vendors will be billed to the cus-
tomer.
There is no prepaid level on drop
shipments.
These shipments are subject to the
terms and conditions of the manufacturer.
Special order items
may not be combined with
stock items to reach prepaid freight levels.
U.S. Postal Shipments:
Our freight charge poli-
cies extend to USPS shipments.
Expedited delivery and other special han-
dling costs are the responsibility of the
customer.
Hazmat Shipments:
Orders below freight
prepaid that include Hazmat product will be
charged a $40 Hazmat Fee. Prepaid orders are
not subject to a Hazmat Fee. Not all small pack-
age carriers are licensed to carry hazardous
materials; therefore, we may need to use alter-
nate carriers.
Extraordinary freight carrier charges
such
as residential, change of address, oversized and
long/package/pallets, remote access, lift gate,
re-delivery, boxing, crating or similar fees will be
charged to the customer, including ON freight
prepaid shipments over $500.
