The Norton 1600 closer is non-handed and offers regular, parallel
arm or top jamb installation. Closers are furnished with parallel
arm bracket. Features include: adjustable sweep speed, rack &
pinion operation and adjustable latch speed. Adjustable back-
check cushioning: an independent regulating valve, hex-key
operated, provides an adjustable hydraulic cushion to the door
opening speed toward the end of the opening cycle. Adjustable
sizes 1 thru 6.

1601 Series
Non-handed and offers universal regular, parallel arm or top
jamb installation. Projection is only 2-1/8" from the surface of
the door or jamb. Adjustable sizes 1 thru 6. It has separate
valves to adjust the sweep and latch speeds. Adjustable back-
check is standard. These closers offer low opening resistance
for handicapped accessibility but still provide acceptable door
control. Closers are furnished with a full molded cover of high
impact UL listed plastic. Metal covers are available in sprayed
and plated architectural finishes by special order only. Available
in aluminum finish.
